Aftermarket stereo mounting bracket

To add, installation will be greatly eased by removing the entire center stack.
from my last installation:
In the second pic, you’ll the bracket from this pic below with it still installed.
I left that bracket in my first Disco when I did a head unit, but found if I removed it in the second and 3rd ones that there is WAY more space. Otherwise, if you are using a transition harness like I am from Crutchfield, the wiring gets really tight and difficult and introduces the risk of pinching a wire or the like. It takes a good bit more time to do all this, but it ends up WAY cleaner and is quite reversible.
