I have an interesting question...is there a sensor hooked to the doors..attached to the air bag system??..when i open the back door. it lets the back of the truck down..is this right?????? any info will be helpful.

Yes, that is correct.
It lets the air out to help in loading/unloading the truck.
With any door open the compressor will not run.

 

No, there is no such switch. What door do you have to open to make this happen?
