Default RE: Air bag suspension

Thanks everyone, for the advice. I think the plan right now it to buy the Rovertym spacers and leave the air bags in. I've got the extended warranty, so if the ybreak before the warranty is up I'll get them replaced. If they out last the warranty at least I have some springs to put in when they break.

Thanks,
Brian

Looks like its only a 30min job to do the conversion...maybe buy the kit and take it with ya off road

After the last 3 hour limp home I would have been happy to swat mosquitoes and wrench in some coils to be able to go faster than 4mph......actually had to stay in 4lo and ride the brake for 3 hours. truck was still great off road as a low rider, but it took all the skill I had to make it through.

That's actually not a bad idea. Lift the front, put the spacers in the back, and put the rear springs inside. If the SLS breaks. Put the springs on and drive home.

Brian, if you keep the SLS, like I di, once you replace the old bags for new, keep an old one in the truck just incase you ever have one leak.
