I alos have another problem with my 99 Series II. I have been noticing the compressor kicking on periodically while driving, sittin still, after I shut the car off, or at least that is what I think it is. Anyway, the left rear corner of the vehicle also sits low. I also notice what appears to be air releasing from that corner after the car is shut off. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on here? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Where do you hear the air releasing from, under your seat area or more towards the back of the truck? How many miles on your truck?
It sounds like you have a bag leaking, if so I would suggest you go to, http://www.arnottindustries.com/ when you get ready to replace them. Arnott makes a far superior bag over the Rover replacement for less money and with a life time warranty.

Thanks Mike. It has 126k on it. I believe the air release is coming from the rear of the vehicle. Thanks again.

 

Liike I mentioned it is an easy job and with your mileage, it doesn't surprise me they are leaking.
