Default Air Box

The Clips that hold the top and bottom of the air filter box have broken sometime this week and i am having a heck of a time finding a replacement outside of AB. Are there any other vendors i can try that wont run 300.00 for a replacement? Also, I have tried rover guy, but haven't yet received a response so am running out of options.

Thanks in advance

The problem with buying a used one is it will have the same problem as your box has. Over time the plastic gets brittle with the high underhood temps and the amount of clamping pressure allows the brittle plastic to crumble.

My recommendation would be to either rig it up by drilling holes and zip ties or bit the bullet and buy a new one.

I took two hose clamps and attached them around the inside of the clips. That's just a temp fix until I fiberglass the damn thing. I have tried all sorts of different epoxies and nothing holds. I'll post some photos if you would like.

FYI...Will apparently gets tons of e-mail and (I assume) seems to have had trouble getting through it all over the few months. The parts he's posted over on D-web all seem to have included instructions to call him (versus PM or e-mail).

That's what I'd do...here's his# 434-251-9331.
