the rear TF coil looks to be more progressively wound than the OME coil, which would lead to a smoother ride. of course that could just be the angle the pic is shot at too.

 

My first impressions were a slightly stiffer/stable ride than my previously worn out set up. I do notice a slight "sway" on the highway but it corner's like a champ. I don't have close access to test out the off-road capabilities, but I found a couple of unpaved and pot-hole riddened alley's to zoom up and down. I was very impressed with the responsiveness of the set-up. I need more time behind the wheel before releasing my true review.

Overall, very pleased w/ the TF MD kit.

 

I'm super happy with the TF kit over my old OME kit. Looks good, nice work!

 

Found a few more pictures, so may as well post them. Here we are putting the passenger side back together, and its coming along pretty smoothly, but if you notice, someone took apart the sway bay connector and just kind of let it sit there! DOH! Dont worry, it reconnected pretty easy!

I had a tough time lining up the top bolt of the rear shocks. Once, I adjusted the rear to the "right" articulation they dropped right in.

 

I would like to report that the new TF suspension works great!

i just did a similar conversion but how did you get your computer to ignore the fact that there is no more SLS would i just be able to pull its relay?

 

I have a hawkeye which I used to reprogram the SLABS computer.

 

So just disconnecting the compressor wont stop the light from turning on?

 

I don't know.

I don't think so, but it will help keep from running your battery down. (assuming you disconnect the correct connector.)
