Day before long weekend I get the water pump replaced, belt is good hoses to rad all good, but mechanic noticed a noise…sigh.
appears to be air con pump, I googled the prices seem to vary from 300 ish to a grand for a denso pump.
and that’s not nz dollars lol.
is it worth getting second hand , or bite the bullet
are the cheaper ones ok ?

 

Have you priced the Denso unit at Spareto or Trodo?

For my VW, I got a Denso Compressor, condensor and drier, O rings and a Valeo TX valve all shipped fro Spareto to NZ for under a grand, NZ. in 2022.
