Hi, I have a 03 disco II. My problem is that the air conditioning has quick working. Or I should say the fan has stopped working. My wife drove on a dirt road and said that the air turned off, then she hit a big bump and the air turned back on for a while then it shut off again. When it turns on it works great, nice cold air. When it shuts off, we lose everything. I can hear the condenser still putting a drag on the engine though. It seems like a loose plug just didnt know if this was common or not? Any ideas? Thanks

 

Check the plug at the fan.

well took the lower cover off and some how the connector broke off to the fan motor. Still cant figure that one out but I fixed the connector and it works great now. Thanks for the help.

 

Got the same problem. Find a bigger bump when it happens. lol Start engine, turn a/c on, open hood, hit fusebox near battery, see if it works. If it does, connection is loose in the box.
