Hi Guys Can anyone advise re this situation. The other evening had been out fishing Got home forgot to lock vehicle . Next morning I went to lock using the Fob, no reaction, checked Fob battery - ok.
Tried over and over to get car to lock using FOB- no go. So I locked it with the key. Next day wanted to usel Landi, opened the door with my Key and all hell broke loose. Alarm went off , lights flashing etc etc . I closed the door, still on, put key in ignition - no go. I closed the door and locked again and alarm stopped
Eventually I used my EKA code, did everything by book, now car is unlocked and starts and runs. However what I have so far been unable to find out is - if i lock the door again with the key, is it going to arm the alarm and I have the same nonsence to do all over again to get in and start.. At this stage it remains at home unlocked. I am not game enough to lock again
