Hello boys!


I have been without my beloved '01 SE7 since late March when I was in an accident and totaled her. Been on the lookout for a second one and I am considering an '02 SE7 with 105K miles (mine was 200K+!!!).


HOWEVER, it needs the alarm reset. Per the owner the alarm is in theft mode due to a mechanic disconnecting the battery repeatedly because the mechanic did not know how to disarm the alarm.


Is this something I can attempt myself? Or will I need to have it reprogrammed by someone?

Is there a key fob or just a key?

 

When my alarm has gone nuts the fob never seems to solve the issue, but cycling the key in the door always takes care of it.
