i dont think tx has front license plates.
?

No we do, so I'm taking a chance but it's only for 3 weeks or so. In Texas it's actually illegal to have one of those frames on your plate that has the dealer's name or your favorite team or whatever. Seems a lot of people were putting on some kind of filtering plastic that keeps traffic cameras from seeing the plate!

I was also told once by a highway patrolman that the front plate is the aiming spot of choice for when they use laser based radar detectors because it gives a good reflection!

Many states, even some which *issue* front tags, don't require them.

Florida won't even issue you one.

When I did the van the first time I took it to the police station across the street and had it checked out for anything that might be a problem. They said as long as you don't have any RED lights on the front of the car you will be fine.

I have been doing it for about 5 years now, with no problems.
