Since OEM parts last longer I would say buy a good used one and use it until it goes bad then get it rebuilt.

Mine went bad at 140K (kilometers) got it rebuilt for 80$ and it still works really fine. The truck has now 165K.

I am going to buy one from these guys.
It is $130 for a rebuilt, they replace all internal parts and turn up the amps to 120.
Shipping is $15.
