Default Alternator Bracket Bolt Source?

I was installing my alternator bracket today and one of the bolts snapped. Good news is it was not under a lot of load, so it should come out.

Problem is that Land Rover has discontinued the bolt.

Has anyone found a suitable alternative by any chance?

You can can probably snag something at a hardware store I’d imagine.

FB110201L?

https://www.lrdirect.com/FB110201L-B...keep_https=yes

Or ERR6444?

https://www.lrdirect.com/ERR6444-Bol...keep_https=yes

Neither discontinued. If you want to get your own bolt...

ERR6444 - BOLT-FLANGED HEAD 3/8UNC X 90.5 ALTERNATOR TO BRACKET
FB110201L - BOLT-FLANGED HEAD M10 X 100

A fastener store will do ya.

Or Abran, paul grant, or will tillery will surely have one.

Would these work?

I just would rather not wait for shipping from England.

Is the length OK? That is 10mm too long. I've got enough issues with bolts going.

Measuring from below the flange head, and Rovers North.

For whatever reason, and it is the same at the LR Dealership I called, They have them swapped. The Alternator bolts are the longer as it sits further back, and the four for the bracket are 3/8" x 90.5mm. All the Cylinder head bolts are that size.

I will have to head to home depot and see if the bolts I have will screw into an M10 x 1.25.

I am just tired of going back and forth, but am getting used to it. My Home Depot doesn't have a stellar collection sof bolts, but I will see what I can find. I am also having to buy a 90 degree drill to get the other bolt out.

According to 10 + sources that bolt size is correct.....BUT....I'm with you

If you are finding the info on the site(s) for fb110201L listed wrong then the best bet is to go to HD, Local Hardware Store, or even a NAPA to match the bolt size. Get at least a grade 8.
