If you are finding the info on the site(s) for fb110201L listed wrong then the best bet is to go to HD, Local Hardware Store, or even a NAPA to match the bolt size. Get at least a grade 8.
Thanks. I will have to see what I can find.

If you have something to cut metal with, thread a nut on to the bolt. Cut it, file the end, then remove the nut which will clean the threads.

Should probably cost you $3 at the hardware store.

great idea. I found a 3.5” 3/8” Grade 8 bolt and with a washer it is within a mm or so. I will see how that goes. The 4.0” was a bit too long for my liking.

I usually am in the drawers, so I was opened up to a whole new world when I turned around. I’t’s not flanged but that’s fine with me.

Thanks for all the advice guys.

Okay. While obsessing over the possiblity of another bolt breaking I found these stainless steel ARP bolts that should work.

https://arp-bolts.mobi/?src=redirect...?RecordID=2594

Ordered them up, torque value is well past the 30ft lbs for Alternator bracket.

I’ve got a dumb question related to my bolt issues. I haven’t been using anti seize/grease in bolts unless a sealant is called for.

Should I use a dab of grease on bolts?

I'm a big fan of anti-seize and have been for well over 35+ years. The problem most people have is using too much!
Just swipe the brush on one side of the fastener and let the anti seize work its way around the threads...simple.

This is my go to, or others made by Permatex or Loctite (depends on application)
