Default Amigo codes 046 and 022

First off, great site! Ive learned so much about my truck here. Thanks! Now for the details....

Just got my ABS Amigo and read my codes for my Amigo issue. (I've had the 3 Amigos constantly on ever since I bought the truck over a year ago.)

First read was
Active faults - 022 ECU Gnd or Reference Gnd bad
Logged faults - none

Two of the three amigos went away. Abs light remained constant on. I was on my lunch break at work so I didn't test drive after. Went back in and did some research on the ground fault. Got off work and decided to take another reading before leaving the parking lot.

Second read was
Active faults - none
Logged faults - 046 front left sensor output low

Here is where it gets fuzzy. I attempted to drive and my brakes are now kicking in on their own each time I go to accelerate. Really bad when I'm making a turn. My first guess would be traction control thinking one tire is slipping. (left front?) the truck will not go over 50mph now and the brakes keep kicking in.

I have put new pads, rotors and tires on in the past few months without issue. Never had driving issues even though the 3 amigos have been on for ever! Just wanted those lights gone. Now 2 out of 3 are gone and I can't drive my rover. Almost wish I would have kept my 3 pals.

Finally made it home. Just for kicks, I plugged in the abs amigo a third time just as I was coming in now and the third read is this:
Active faults - none
Logged faults - none

Mind you, I pulled in the driveway, shut down the truck, clicked key on and took a reading. Have yet to re-drive the truck since reading the "no fault" read. Is it possible it took 3 tries to clear or am I being too hopeful things will be better in the morning.

I've been combing this site for a while looking into these and found a few ideas about checking resistance at the sensor plugs and such. Guess I'll get on that in the morning if she still won't drive.

I guess my questions for the experts out here are:

Am I right about it being the traction control "thinking" my left front wheel is spinning differently, thus applying the brakes? It seems to be the right front brake that is being applied. ( wants to pull to the right when it happens )

Is it safe to assume that my shuttle valves are working and don't need rebuilt?

Where do you think I should start??? (sensor, modulator, etc.)

Does anyone have a ballpark guess at what this might cost to fix? ( $100 vs $1000)

I would be doing the work myself. I have the RAVE. Any feedback would be great. Thanks all!

Go to RSWsolutions where you bought the scanner and look at his fault code list and items to check.

I've been back to the RSW site. However I found the results a bit vague. It referred to a technical bulletin that i could not locate and gave a few numbered connectors to check. I'm afraid that that all looked foreign to me. I'm a machinist/mechanic not an electrician. I have several meters though and could check connectors, just don't know which ones or where they are.

I was hoping to be pointed to specific parts to inspect and/or replace. I've found wheel speed sensors for $40ea. That's certainly within my budget. Would it be worth while to just install new sensors? That might cure the "front left sensor" fault I'm thinking.

I have a bit of time constraint here is why I'm up to replacing parts as opposed to the inspect and clean and put it back together and hope route. I was just looking for input as to which parts to start with.
