Amigo Scanner Available for Rent
Hi Everybody,
I purchased an Autel AL619 to diagnose (and fix
) my 3 Amigos on my recently acquired Disco 2.
I'm shipping it out today for the first time as a rental, and figured I'd publicly offer the service to any other interested individuals.
The device is $160 on Amazon. As most of you know, you can get a good OBDII scanner for $30 these days. So, if you really don't want to spend the extra $130 just to diagnose the Amigos, then this can be a good option to save some cash (which you'll undoubtedly put into your Disco in some other way).
Total due is $160 through PayPal. I pay for shipping of the scanner to you. The scanner comes back in the same condition it went out and I refund $120 to you. So the rental fee is $40. You're responsible for shipping the scanner back to me.
If I can do a few of these rentals, I see it as a win-win: I get back some of the cash I had to outlay for the device, and some of you get to diagnose and fix for a reasonable cost.
