Default Announcing Extinct Motorsports Engineering!

So now that the inlinethermostats site is relatively stable and I don't have to spend a great deal of time tending it I have decided to share some of my other improvements to D2's and other vehicles and enable more people to benefit. To that end I am launching Extinct Motorsports Engineering at the website www.extinctmotorsports.com with the launch of a handful of products to start. It is a bit of a modest launch to start so I can get the website running well before putting all the products on there. The products I am launching at this time are:
  1. Coil pack relocation kit - uses factory plug wires so no expensive custom wires
  2. Transfer case sight glass - no more removing the plug to check the oil level
  3. Storage Bin Organizing System
  4. Air Filter Restriction Indicator - Save money on air filter replacement
  5. Color Matched Leather restoration Dye and crack filler
I've also got a blog section where I will make post related to the engineering background of the products (check out the current one for a more detailed look at coil relocation) and the D2 in general. More products/kits coming of course but this will be a start. I have stocked limited inventory of these so even if you aren't going to order right away you might want to let me know you intend to so I can make sure to order enough to keep in stock. These are custom made by me so I can't just get a new batch any time.

Any questions, you can email me at extinct@extinctmotorsports.com

And if you are going to be at ROAV Wintergreen this weekend, make sure to find me and say hi and stroll by and check out "Don", he will be there!

Cheers!

Wish your relocation kit was available sooner! I picked up the other style that's available but yours is in a nicer location and reuses the stock wires. That sightglass is awesome too!

Congrats! Great looking site too!

Gotta say, I think I like your coil kit better than the other one I've seen, I never liked the wires running over top of the alternator, your kit doesn't have that problem. And your trans and t-case sight glasses, frikn cool! How the heck are you selling your recommended spares kit for that price and making it worth your while? Those are some really, really fair prices IMO. Anyway really nice site, I'll definitely be buying some more of your stuff

Thanks for the kind words. I am going to try and hold the line on prices as long as possible. Already some suppliers I bought the original samples from are out of stock and others have increased prices, but I think we are seeing that in everything (wife and I just had a $100 date night that was one measly glass of wine, pizza and pasta ). Hopefully prices hold for a little while.

Maybe you needed a bit more wine so you could stomach the price a little easier.
The new site looks great btw, great products.

Converting the rear bins to side opening and the organizer boxes/netting is brilliant! I have been keeping all my spares in a "trailcan" but it takes up space in the rear cargo area and suffers the same issue of being top-loading. Got a bit excited when I saw all the goodies and ordered almost everything!!!
