My '04 D2 has a rattling sound from the undercarriage. It seems to be coming from the middle muffler or thereabouts. It does not rattle in Neutral. Dealer says it's the muffler. What do you folks say?

I did a drain/fill of the transfer case last night and noticed that my heat shield was flopping around.
It was being held by two rusty bolts and no nuts. That's right, just hanging in there by habit really. I yanked it till I can get to the hardware store.
Like Mike said though, could be just about anything. If you don't trust the dealers opinion, you'll have to spend a little time under your Rover... but that's good for ya, so might as well do that even when it's NOT rattling.
