Another 16 question
Another question about 16's. Is there anything I need to know about purchasing 16 in rims. I found these on EBAY. This seems like a pretty good price. Are all Land Rover 16's a standard with i.e 7 or 8 inch? Sorry for all of the questions I just don't want to be disappointed. I will be running 265/75 R16's. Oh also how much will this effect the spedo? I do alot of HWY driving and I do not want to get nabbed by a LEO..not that a Discovery is going to be breaking any outlandish land speed records.
Cheers,
Chris

Those are the exact same rims that I'm using. They are 16X8 inches. I sincerely think that this is the nicest 16 inch rims that Land rover ever made. I chose to go with 265/70-16 ( 31 inch tire), instead of the 265/75( 32 inch tire). Reason being that I had no intention of changing my axle gearing or upgrading my driveline or brakes. That size looks great with the Old Man Emu 2 inch lift.

Kermit poo green
That's what my wife says too. Actually, it's Coniston green and is apparently very rare on D2s. There were a few D1s this color, but it is mostly reserved for Defenders. It's the exact same green that you find in the Land Rover logo.
