Default Another Brake Question

OKay, I ordered a reman caliper and new rotor from Rovers North today, so I should have everything next week. I think I'm good for everything, but I was curious if anyone has any advice/instructions for the actual removal of the caliper from the vehicle. Since the caliper is coming off and getting put in a box, I'll need to disconnect the brake line and whatnot. Is there anything odd with this process? This is a brake job I've not done before.

When you remove the brake line try and cap it off so fluid doesn't drain out, cos if it does, you're going to have to bleed thwe whole syatem to make sure you've no bubbles left in it. If you can, leave the flexi-hose connected and cap it at the end with a plumbing blank or some such, even a small bung would do the trick.

Well, unfortunately, one of the piston came out of the old caliper, and dumped it's load of fluid all over my garage floor. I'm thinking I'm now going to have to bleed the whole system regardless . . .

This job is getting fun!
