Default Another D2 No Start

So I buy a 2002 D2 with 130k on it. The truck is extremely clean with lots of good service records for its life. The owner says it has an intermittent starting problem and thinks that the fuel pump is on the way out.

I have the truck towed to my house. The next day, I put a good charge on the battery since it was a little low and it starts right up...no problem. I let it run for about 20 minutes, take it for a spin up the road. It drives great and shifts through all the gears fine. Typical check engine light is on and ABS light but nothing of serious worry.

The next day, I go to try and start it again and no luck.

Since then, have not been able to get it to start again.

Check pocket OBD reader and it only gave me two codes...one for the mass air flow sensor and one for the O2 sensor.

At this point, here is what I have done and hopefully someone here can offer another solution.

Replaced fuel pump
Replaced fuel pump relay
Replaced crank sensor
Replaced engine ECM
Replaced engine compartment fuse panel
Replaced mass air flow sensor
Have reset factory security system

It is getting good strong spark and if I jump the fuel pump, the pump will run, but it seems that the fuel pump relay is not getting power from the ECM and therefore I don't think my injectors are opening up. At this point, I am kind of at a loss. Was encouraged by the good running and driving in the beginning and now have mystery problem.

Any helpful input would be greatly appreciated.

You really need to quit throwing money at it because of guessing.
Unfortunately, you have changed so many parts that it is going to be hard to determine what is wrong.
The 2 codes you had will not cause a starting issue.
When you installed the crank sensor, did you mount the sensor to the block then install the 2 spacers and nots?

Is the red led on solid at the bottom of your gauge cluster when you try to start it? Are you unlocking it using the key fob?

I actually have a ton of Disco II parts here at my house, so luckily I have my own D2 parts store and all the trucks I have boned down here were running and driving trucks. And yup, did the sensor, then spacers, then nuts...as it should be.

Tried unlocking it with key fob and with key as well as tried the reset sequence for the security system. Will have to double check the red line being on solid. I did notice the day before the fourth of July that the "manual" and "sport" icons were blinking after I would try to start it and I don't remember it doing that before. I know my old '99 D2 used to do that due to a bad XYZ switch sometimes and put the transmission in limp mode.

Hmmm frustrating ... About once a month if I unlock the doors with the fob the immobilized stays actor and I have to reach out the window and unlock the door again with the key, then it starts right up. But if it is an immobilized issue then the red light should be solid. Good luck man, gremlins suck.

90% of the time when the M&S are flashing, it is a low battery issue, the XYZ will not cause starting problems.
