M&S will only flash after I crank for about 5 seconds. They do not flash during cranking. It is a frustrating gremlin issue at this point.

Go test the voltage of your battery as it sits.

sounds like your battery is going to fail a load test

So my ASE certified mechanic buddy dropped by with a Solus OBDII reader, here are the codes we are getting:

108 Supply of Voltage Continuous
39 EWS Multiplication Check
107 ECU Power Supply
170 A/C Compressor Control
236 CAN Time Out AGS/EGS

The Solus is also showing 0.0 as a voltage readout for the battery.

The battery is a fairly new Die Hard Gold and is fully charged. Put it on the trickle charge this morning and it showed full charge. It has been holding charge no problem and the truck is spinning over strong with no problems.

Still a battery issue or am I having ground problems? It is odd since all the grounds look excellent and I've had much crustier trucks run fine with more ground corrosion then I am seeing here.

OK...new update...swapped out the R6 and R9 engine management relays...now it starts and dies right out. New codes after this tinkering showed:

168 Idle Speed Actuator Closed
169 Idle Speed Actuator Open
131 Rough Road Impluse

Trying to see if Solus has "Quickfix" available.

And yes, we are using the Rover keys and software for the Solus.

The plot thickens...

Ended up swapping out the engine control relay from another truck and it started.

Madness.
