Default Another front cowl area water leak

Pass footwell carpet getting a bit wet after days of rain. After my "Fix all leaks summer". Spent 2 days with a syringe, hose, and determined (ish) that it's not windshield (replaced 2x this summer), not sunroof (both done), not the ventilation intake (sealed) I don't think it's A Pillar/rain gutters (multiple tubes of Sikaflex...but maybe) ... finally after no water coming in, ran Disco thru a touchless car wash. Boom. Leaked. I had glovebox out and I **found** the location. Here are photos, this is passenger side (LHD).

Inner wing area.

Pried down the insulation (which of course broke/decayed in my hand) to find the source of water entering up here. On the right side of the car just behind firewall.
Water dribbled down here...

Ends up right there on floor, causing carpet to get wet.

Another view of where water entering

With my "notes"

Another view -- a very very slight leak after a high pressure touchless car wash.

Where on earth is this water coming from?

I will say that living in Oregon really tests potential leaks... on anything and everything. (my garage leaks, attic leaks, skylight leaks, Porsche leaks, M4 leaks, and the Disco that I thought had been leak-fixed still has 2 leaks...sigh)

After letting the areas dry out, get some Capt Tolley penetrating sealant (or similar type of capillary sealant for marine boats) to get deep into those thin crack areas to seal it up.

I feel the PNW leak struggle! Luckily mine are fixed (at least for the time being) but last year it was a mad rush to get it all done before the rainy season started, especially because the D2 is kept outside.

Working on this via process of elimination. Poured tons of water on cowl. No leak. Poured tons of water between hood and fender. No leak. Slowly worked my way up the side of the windshield. When I pour water down left side of windshield, halfway up, it leaks immediately in the same spot. Which rules out (partially) that top corner of the windshield that I thought it might be.

Removed fender. Thought it might be inner fender. Not the case.

So I sealed left side of windshield (so much for my windshield guy's super nice urethane bead install lol).

Rained overnight lots. Damn. Still leaks. Just a few drops but .... Tomorrow I'm putting the fender back on and taking off the plastic cowl. There has got to be a seam in there leaking, I can't figure it out.

Removed A Pillar trim, sealed passenger side of windshield up and down super thoroughly.

This looks BAD *** huh

If it ain't leaking, it ain't a Land Rover.
