another leaking upper radiator hose T

On my last trip to the boneyard I picked up two upper hose T's as spares.

Here's a quick photo



T fitting fix

The head of the bolt - on the inside, has a rubber washer. I cut the slit in the top of the bolt so I could keep it from turning when tightening the butterfly bolt.

pretty neat!
went to lowes and got the T.... but no bleeder . not sure about the cons of no bleeder?

I like that alot.

The only con of no bleeder is getting air out when you change the coolant, or if you wanted to put a sensor in the bleeder thread. But the air will work its way to the expansion tank and, honestly, how often do we have to change the coolant...
