Default another new to me disco with questions

i just bought another 2000 disco. The guy I purchased from said it started to run hot on him during the summer so he parked it, so first thing I tried to smell for a coolant leak and I cannot smell antifreeze at all and then I tried the air conditioning and I noticed the condensor fan wasnt working.I can spin it easily but havent tested it yet, and also the heat doesnt get warm at all, I was wanting some good advice. Could this be air in the system. And I wanted to mention that I have drivin it around and it has not got hot what so ever but it is fall here now. Any ideas to where to start? Thanks Guys

is the expansion tank full? sounds like a thermostat and check the fan and a flush and refill would be the best/cheapest place to start

Checked my fan today and it's good. Could the thermostat cause the heat not to get warm and cause the fan not to kick on?
