Default Another Slow Speed Noise

Trying to get all the loose ends tied up before I head out on the 5000 mile trek out west.

And of course, a mysterious clatter shows up.

It is in the rear. I fixed a loose heat shield, tightened the rear shocks and checked other suspension parts for worn bushings or looseness but haven’t found anything of note.

Only seems to happen when I hit a bump or a hole on one side at very low speed. Any thoughts on what else to check?

Just to close this one out. It was the front driver side sway bar link that was loose on the bottom. Retorqued it to 74flbs and no more sound. I spent all my time earlier investigating the rear because that's where it sounded like it was coming from. I found it by having my son push on the rear bumper passenger corner while I crawled underneath with the creeper.

Lesson #325: Until you get under the truck, you are just guessing.
