Another Three Amigos' Tale!

Another Three Amigos' Tale!
Just got the dreaded Three Amigos yesterday. Have been having a little rough braking for a while, which I think is attributable to a possible warped rotor or two, but nothing serious. My scanner shows P1590 : 'Rough Road signal; unplausable drive cycle'. I have a set of replacement rotors for the front, which I had been planning to replace anyway and the left front wheel bearing (unit bearing) was replaced last fall; left rear was replaced last fall.
So, any ideas? What to attack first? I will be replacing the rotors and cleaning the speed sensors in the front, but anyhing else?

I checked out the autocom cdp+ and it appears that the diagnosis is software driven and only for PC; I run Mac's, any thoughts?

Join the club, like head gaskets and sunroof leaks it's inevitable sooner or later. It's the bain of the WABCO ABS system, it's like herpes simplex, easy to get and hard/near impossible to get rid of. It's usually one of 5 issues, modulator SVS internal wiring defect often caused by leaking shuttle seals or just bad contacts. Or one of the 4 ABS wheel sensors or their wiring/plugs playing up. They can be checked easily through the hole into which they are bolted and the plugs can be disconnected, cleaned and sprayed with electrical contact spray and re-plugged. Often water/dirt gets into the plugs and sockets and corrodes the pins.
There is another scenario if you have SLS air suspension where the height sensors become defective or dirty and that can cause these problems.
Best is have the actual ABS codes read to isolate the problems which in so doing is far more accurate than generic codes.

Mine throws the 3 Amigos when my rear driver side brake squeals too much. Truck came with cheap pads, so they occasionally squeal. I've been too busy with things to change them, but will be doing ceramic next time.
3 Amigos only happen about once every 3 months, so not a huge issue for me. This is the EXACT reason I got into the AutoCom scanner.
I recently bought a second one from HERE. Took a couple weeks to get, but works better than my first one (more reliable, works EVERY time), and was MUCH cheaper. $39 + $17 shipping = $56 Total.
