so, just to be sure for those of us who are uninitiated, you can hook this doohikey up to the OBD port and the other end to the computer. pull up (?) a webpage and cycle this thing to clear the codes? and, apparently, can also be used to bleed the modulator after doing the, for example, falconworks kit upgrade?

Basically, yes. You actually install the software and run the software. But inside the software are many things you can do to not only your Disco, but many other makes and models too. Check out my video walk through on my thread about the Delphi AutoCom device. I'm on my phone at the moment, or I'd paste a link here.
