Why not just wrap the truck in vinyl to display the flag entirely, or even just the hood???

I actually saw a Union Jack hood wrap once that looked pretty neat...

Here's some inspiration for you!

This is a very entertaining thread to say the least. I will have to ask you though, have you ever seen anyone fly a full size flag on their vehicle? I've actually never seen that before, except in movies from the south with the confederate flag.

Isn't that offensive to actual prisoners of war?

Plenty of rednecks fly full size flags on their vehicles.

Also the Patriot Guard frequently fly full size American Flags on their bike along with the POW MIA Flag.

I don't think it will be offensive to a Prisoner of war many cars carry the stickers or small flags. I find it highly unlikely he will encounter any POW's from England on his way across Canada to offend anyway.

You never know. Remember this?
Pretty sure it was a documentary because Michael Moore was the director

so as much as I've been giving you crap for this, I've been thinking about the problem and how I'd try and solve it.

How about mounting a ski carrier on the spare tire and mount the flag pole to the vertical tire mounted ski rack? In addition to providing a mount, it might reduce noise and drag with it streaming off the back of the truck like that.

Michael Moore has never directed a documentary. A documentary implies some level of truth.

Though its not common Ive seen a pickup truck flying a full size flag on the back of their truck. Again Im not looking for a full size flag, rather a mid sized flag. There is nothing offensive about displaying a POW flag. Thats my way of saying I wont forget those who lost their life defending their country, those who were lost and left behind when the troops went home.... I have alot of respect for Vets and current soldiers.
