Yup, there it is in all its splendor! Nice looking piece of equipment, and less money than the ARB...

Anyone have experience with this bumper? Pros and cons? I've read that the ARB doesn't mount as solidly as one would like, what about these? The TJM also looks like it may offer a little bit better approach and departure than ARB.

The D2 can be configured to have Day running lights (I thought all NAS vehicles were) , its a simple on / off selection in the BCU (Body control module)
Only Canada requires daytime running lights. I think the US should adopt that also. It has been proven time after time that driving with your lights on increases others ability to see you. Studies have even shown that headlights can be differentiated from the color of the sun when looking directly at it like at sunrise or sunset. Too many people here in the states think that headlights are only so they can see so they wait too long to turn them on. I make it habit to turn my lights on every time I even start my vehicle.

The 2 things I keep hearing about the ARB bumpers are 1. they have a terrible approach angle and 2. they flex under heavy winching. I don't have an ARB so I don't know if either is true but I can see from looking at the bumper where the possibility exists. IMO, the TJM bumper is pretty much identical to the ARB so will likely suffer the same problems. If you're planning any serious off-roading I would consider one of the thinner profile bumpers like Rovertym for the clearance and approach angle. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for that link that is much cheaper than the ARB. I'm going to call them thursday and see about ordering one. Anyone have experience with these bumpers?

Well I dont know about over there, but here in the UK the TJM costs more than the ARB, AND it does not come with the winch tray, thats an extra bit you have to buy which takes the cost up a lot.

As far as any bumper reducing the approach angle, this will happen with ANY of them where the winch sits in front of the grille purely down to accomadating the width of the winch. The only way around it is the slimline ones where you cut the grille so the winch sits further back, but imo they just look awful.

Both the ARB and TJM just look so much better. I suppose it all depends on if your vehicle is lifted and what / how extreme you use it.
