Default Any mechanic in San Antonio that could take a look at a potential buy?

Ive made an offer on this machine I’d like to know your thoughts as well as if there is anyone in the area I could drive it to to give it a once over. I’d love to have this as my daily driver. I’m about to sell my pickup and have always loved these.

If you can get it to Bastrop...I've got your guy.

I heard there was a Rover shop in San Antonio but I can't remember the name of it.

from what I see in the ad:

1. How is the steering wheel that perfect? With 72k there should be some wear, even if they cleaned regularly

2. The leather/vinyl on the 2nd row seat has been off before, Why?

3. Why are there air fresheners in every vent?

So ask these questions. Because, if it was a flood car, all of those are signs of it.

Also, that truck is EXTREMELY clean for the price. If they have service records too, I'd **** myself.

That price may be book value, but if the head gaskets have been done and done right, along with oil pump replaced, that truck could sell for 10 or even 11k. There are some crazies out there selling for more than that even.

Get the VIN number and call LandRover Austin and ask them if they can print any service visits it may have had their. Sometimes they can't because the dealership upgrades software and they may have lost any old service history.

I’ve seen plenty of D2’s with perfect steering wheels in Tundra/Black/Alpaca (just depends on the previous owner/owners), the air fresheners could be covering up a wet carpet smell from clogged AC drains (see it all the time or from leaky sunroof drains). The middle seat looks normal to me. Probably had it folded over for a bit if I had to guess.

It’s a clean 03, but if you aren’t familar with LR’s I’d certainly get it checked out. Austin Roverworks is a great shop near Austin, TX.

Seat folded for a long time and a ton of air fresheners also could mean a herd of dogs to.

Or a chain smoker
