Exclamation Any official "printed" DIsco 2 DIY manuals?

I'm looking for an official "do it yourself" repair manual for the Discovery Series 2, complete with step by step instructions and illustrations. Already familiar with the rave, but dont have the means to print out 500+ pages of black and white print outs - low quality anyways. I know Haynes makes a manual for the Discovery Series 2 Diesel engines, but haven't found anything for D2 Petrol engines. Any ideas? If you have something that I'm looking for, I'd be happy to make you an offer for it. I need something travel ready.

I was just looking at the D2 manual and I thought I saw color photos as well. You could download to a USB drive, and have the sections you want printed two sided and bound at Kinkos, etc. Or just carry the USB drive in glove box if you also tote a laptop. Most repair locations would have a working PC. And in the tech sticky there is a post about putting it on your Smart Phone. I just got a Motorola Titanium, they told me you could have a 32 gig memory chip in it.

Seems like when you see manuals they are over $100.

I have a printed overhaul manual for the rover v8's (4.0 & 4.6). It's also available on amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/185520...dir_mdp_mobile)

Theres no description in the link regarding the content of the overhaul manual. Does it cover extensive repairs?

I've never used it. I would expect it covers everything in the RAVE version since it's the factory manual. As for difference between 03 and 04 manuals, I have no idea.

I dont think there is enough difference between the '03 and '04 to warrant a "new" manual.

the only difference is the CDL lever and actuation in the TC. everything else is identical.

Thanks much. Still really wish Haynes made a manual for the petrol D2!
