I never said they aren't good, just from all the technical analysis I've read on filters they aren't 2-4 times as good as WIX in my opinion.

I'm guilty of using the air filter. No problems, and i've had the MAF checked twice just to look for any troubles, have none. But more than welcome to give me the told you so if it goes bad.

I agree 1000%, I use Purolator and NAPA oil filters.
The oil is WAY more imporatant than the oil filter, if the oil is allowing for bearing shearing then the best filter in the world wont do you any good because your bearings will still be gone.

Antichrist, I am going to look around for a WIX oil filter, I am about due for a PM, only ~500 miles to go.
Do you happen to know the WIX part number for the 4.0?
