Default Anybody ever use these ext. bump stops?

Hoping to find out what D2 owners are using for extended bump stops with 2" lift and +2 ext. travel shocks. I found this on the Internet from the UK, but seems a little pricey, even before shipping, but that may be the going rate for poly, I don't know. Let me know your thoughts or what you are using. THANKS

thats because they are Polyurethane, any polyurethane bushing or bumper is twice the cost of rubber

I have them. Got them from RN, a little grinding of the soft metal to make fit.

I have run a 3" lift for nearly 10 years and never had need to replace the bump stops.

Thanks for posting this...it reminded me that I need to replace my bump stops. When under the truck last week changing the motor mounts I noticed one is gone altogether (just the rubber part).

I stopped running poly bump stops after destroying a pair of them, and seeing a couple others gets destroyed on other rigs. They were the Energy Suspension ones though, not the ones posted above.

I went with some GM bumps pulled from the junkyard. Working very nice - tires (255/85s) don't make contact with the inside of the wheel well.

So I should not have any issues bottoming out the shocks? What about spring retainers, should I add them? top and/or bottom? Cones? Do you take sway bars off or disconnect for trail riding? I have heard stories of bottoming out extended shocks and springs coming unseated as well with a lift, and since this is my first lift, I just wanted to do what is needed to do prevent those issues?

So, what else do I need to do to do it right?
