Default Anybody have a set of caster corrected radius arms laying around?

I'm looking for a set of 3 degree caster corrected radius arms if anyone has some they want to sell. If not, I will go with RTE.

Thanks!
Jamie

I don't have nay but I'm curious how you figured out how much correction you need...?

I used the 1" of lift per degree of caster. I have a 3" lift so 3 degrees is what I need. It's not scientific, but close enough for government work.

I actually sourced a set locally from a fabricator. $275 including new bushes. Can't beat that.

I believe you can just get offset bushings now, no need to replace the whole arm any more.

I've heard the bushes don't flex as well as standard, and you've tot to press them in just right so the bolts will still go through the holes. Definitely good for a cheap fix, but not quite right.

I've seen those offset bushings. But I couldn't find ANY discussion of how well they worked. Always makes me suspicious. Success breeds posts. Failure is suffered in silence. Hahahaha!

Actually I've always posted my failures, but that's just me. Name another human who has admitted in writing to leaving a bolt in the cylinder.

Is actually Bill from Overtym (previously from Rovertym). He has a shop in South Carolina just outside Charlotte. He has a set he is going to correct for me and then I give him mine as a core.

As for the caster corrected bushes, I have heard they don't last. If I'm going to take the radius arms off, I'm going to do it right. Plus, the bushes are expensive. Would rather pay an additional Benjamin for the corrected arms.

We will not sell the CC bushings as they are junk and do not last.

Bill @ OTE is a great guy and will do anything for you. You will appreciate what he gets you, I promise.
