Default Anyone ever bought this snorkel?

I was wondering what people thought about the quality, and thickness of plastic of this snorkel.

Yes, there are loads of them over here. The question of quality was an issue when they first started showing up on the market, but there have been very few - to no - issues with them. The only thing everyone continues to wonder about is the reaction of the plastic to strong sunshine, will it fade? The only sure solution is to simply paint it black before you install it.
Just make sure it comes with the template, some of the kits here were sold with a link to a Safari website that showed the template and you were supposed to download it and print it. Not good enough in my mind.

Probably because there are far more D2's alive and kicking than D1's. Hence the 'stack 'em high and flog them cheap' scenario.

I wouldn't think there was that big of a difference between D1 and D2 snorkle wise

Still a $70 snorkel even at $75 shipping is the best deal I've seen
