Default AC Issue

I have 2002 Disco.

I thought I had a an a/c compressor issue but discovered that the compressor worked when I jumped the relay. The a/c works perfect 30/180 lbs and 47 degree F at the vents.

I replaced the relay but the system will not work unless I jump the relay.

No blown fuses or other issues
ntrol
I have automatic climate co

Any advice?

Thank you in advance

I would try checking the pressure sensor. If it's not working correctly, the a/c won't come on. Also, sometimes just adding a can of refrigerant will get it working again. Over time, the system will sometimes lose just enough to stop working.

The A/C system has a self diagnostic program, I can't recollect what you have to do exactly but check your owners handbook or the RAVE manual where it tells you the routine.
