Default Anyone have experience with KYB GR-2 shocks?

I'm still fixing some of the problems I acquired when I got the Disco, and have worked my way into the suspension realm. Back roads/gravel/etc is getting worse (bump steer, road vibration, etc) and at 11 years old / 155k miles I'm sure every shock on the rig is dead.

I have an OME steering damper coming in, but now I'm contemplating going all-out. My shop can order Arnott stuff (my rear air bags are dead too.. deflate with any excess pressure/load on the rear, such as towing or climbing into the back) so I need those anyways - I saw they offered the KYB GR-2 shocks for the DII as well, which would allow me to get everything at once at a decent price. I tried searching but "KYB" is obviously too short, and "shocks" is kinda vague

I don't know about those shocks, pretty sure BP of Utah sells them too. Maybe give them a call?

If you want to save some coin on the Arnott air springs, hit me up (PM sent), as I just bought them a couple of weeks ago but will be converting to coils in the next week or two.

I ran KYB's on my Montero and they were a good shock, they are a premium Japanese brand.
Alot of rally cars use them.

The GR2 are good shocks, but I don't think they are a good choice if you are doing any kind of offroading, they are too soft and will not hold up.
