Default Is anyone running 265/65/18 here?

Looking at a decent deal on a set of Bridgestone Dueler A/T tires that are 265/65/18. I'm not the biggest fan of the Bridgestone tires... the CX-9 has them in 20" and they are MEH all around. They are more performance based though with a 200 treadwear. Nice and grippy, but everything else pretty much stinks with them. I did drive a friend's Sierra with the Dueler A/T tires and they seemed good. Quiet on the road, nice grip in the snow and also mud.
I have asked before about up-sizing and kept going back to the stock size, but I'm thinking of a bit wider and taller and shouldn't be that much of an issue. Stock suspension and ACE in the truck. Likely will be getting new shocks soon (along with the tires and an alignment) but will remain stock height (I think...ugh).

I run 275/65/18's bfg tk/o's. I could run 285/65/18 if i wanted to but i would have to trim the front bumper. I've got a 2 inch lift though. You might be able to fit 275's on stock but that would be a really really tight fit. 265 shouldn't be a problem though.

I'm thinking it should be OK if I go plus one in both directions. Everything I measure points to it being OK.

I've purchased lighly used 4 seasons Good Year tires. They are 265 / 60 - 18. My truck is stock. I had one test-mounted on my spare wheel and I tried it of both front positions. I did not ride it but I jacked the axle to see how it looked.

All I can tell you is that there is only 1/8" to 1/4" clearance left between the tire's edge and the front axle swing arm when turning.

I have been running 265/65/18 BFG AT's on my stock DII. They are good on the rear but in the front the rubbed on the inner fender that runs to the bumber. Once the plastic was removed they were fine thou. I am going to be going with a 2 inch lift shortly which should make them fit no problem.

If you're going to put a lift on it I'd go with at least the 275. It will make it look that much more aggressive. I'd be happy to post pics.

Default D5

I’ve got 265/65r18’s on my D5. Toyo ATIII no problems. On the TD6. The proud rhino 2” air suspension lift helps though on access height.

I had the Michelin LTX AT2 on m F350 and loved them. What load rating are your tires? Do you feel that they are too stiff and/or heavy?
