Default anyone tried these led lights in an 04?

PlasmaGlow Igniters LED Headlight Bulbs - Best Price on PlasmaGlow LED Headlight Conversion Kit

looking to see if anyone has used these, or something like these in
either low or high beams, or even the fog lights?

I'm curious whether or not they'll actually fit and if theyre way better than stock or not? also noticed theyre made in the usa, so i thought the quality might be better than the cheaper eBay for sale. thanks

I would caution against them.

My daughters car(04' disco) has HID conversion and the holes for the wires from the ballast to the bulb leak and will eventually ruin the headlights.

The problem is you have to drill a hole into the back of cap/housing in order to run that remote ballast thing.

By drilling the hole you have now compromised a closed system, doesn't matter what bulb you are using.

I just tried gooping the holes where the wires come in with silicone and got one to seal up with out any water coming in after the car wash.

I think the problem is that the back of the wires get tweaked when the headlight gets push in all the way and breaks the seal.

Anyways, expensive headlights to end up pitting with hard water deposits on the inside.

great point, i was wondering about the cap on the back and what to do about it. I'm just not sure of the light output difference to even be worth attempting it.
