Default Anyone Try LSeat.com?

Hey everyone, new to this forum, not the marque. Looking forward to a good group here. Let me know if anyone is local to Atlanta.

Wondering if any of your D2 owners have tried these covers? like most, my seats aren't looking great 16 years later.

I have an 88 D90 and an 89 RRC as well

The only experience I have with Lseat is through a friend (with 35+ plus years of spinning wrenches) that was NOT HAPPY!
He tried these seat covers on a Porsche 911 and the 1st set were trash. They didn't fit, the leather had multiple flaws, and the stitching was loose.
That set was replaced by Lseat and the 2nd set was just as bad (slightly better).
So after going at it with Lseat he got a FULL REFUND.

And I get it these covers are not the price or quality of OE leather covers.... BUT UNUSABLE is total BS!

I'll learn from my friends mistake, in this case you don't even get what you pay for.
Good Luck!

I have heard similar experiences on the Land Cruiser forum I visit. Tales of deposits made and no product and no returned calls as well as bad fitment issues

Those seat covers are on my list.

If you google them, there are mixed reviews all across different forums. Lots of complaints of poor communication and/or poor quality, but just as many happy customers.

It seems like those with poor quality are the folks who have to send in their original covers to use as a template, which means he is making those ones to order from scratch by copying the old cover, and those customers seem to take 2-3 cover sets to get it right. Which is inline with those being prototypes of covers.

The tax man wasn't kind to me this year and I have to redo a bathroom, so the covers have to wait for me

I was thinking about getting a front /rear set too. I requested samples, never got them. Their internet pics look pretty good.......but now Reconsidering.......

Local shop usually charges about 2800-3000$ for front and rear seats and door cards, leather/vinyl mix. BUT, they do a great job.

I got a sample card no problem about 6 months ago.

I did try and ask for clarification on the styling, as their site lists additional costs for piping as well as perforation(which are both stock on the leather seats) but the display photo shows both... couldn't get an answer

Wet Okole seat covers aren't quite the same. Those are a slip-over design made of neoprene, not a leather seat cover replacement, but they are quite nice
