Default Wiper Blade Search

Found a thread on this or the other forum (without the "S") that recommended the Silblade brand, so I bought some on Amazon that were supposed to fit. Of course not.
So for those of you looking, the front wipers can be purchased from the Silblade website as part # LR121, but the rear wiper can be purchased from Amazon as part # RB114D( which, it turns out , needs to have its' profile modded a bit on a spindle sander).
Makes me wonder about the genius engineer that decided that proprietary wipers are a good idea...

$38 for a wiper at the dealer is ****. I'm glad I changed over to D1 arms in the front, but yeah, why hasn't anyone made a blade for the rear yet?

I don’t think it was an engineer, I am betting it was an accountant.

A D2 rear blade is $7 from Lucky8.
I put the D1 front arms on my D2 also, and they work great.

I bought all three as a kit from Atlantic British on ebay for $19. Part numbers are:
2x) DKC100960 and (1x) DKC100890

Might be $7 from lucky8, but by the time shipping and border fees and crap are paid, it's the same price as at the dealer. No joke

Just get the D1 arms for $14 a piece and then you will never have an issue finding blades again. Also the blades you find can be cheap.

I'll grab some at the salvage yard this weekend. Thanks.
