Well you can tell its up there on the highway. Depends on the amount of crosswind. But if its a calm day and you listen to the radio I dont notice it. I dont know its there in the city at all. But with the 2" lift + ARB rack forget the parking garages. The rear sunroof does work fine.

Out of curiosity, why did you want the 04 rails? From what I can tell, aftermarket accessories for the 03 and earlier rails are much easier to find.

The half rack looks great!

I am also thinking of getting one and mounting it to the front end of the Disco. The rear part of the roof will accommodate a roof top tent mounted with the Thule 953 rack system.

The Baja roof rack is the other option.
