Default Argg Trying to defeat the 3 Amigos for Good!

Hello All,

Here is a little back history on this story. I have performed option B, bled the brakes 2x. Added new shuttle valves(fixed the issue back in January). Also just installed new Seals from Falcon works. Passed the Ohm test on the Shuttle valves. New pads rotors all 4 all the way around on the Rover. Basically I still have the 3 Amigos constantly, never turn off. And the Brake light is on constantly.

Brake fluid level is full. What are next steps to fix this issue? I also have 1590 rough road code about 2x a month.

I am leaning toward doing Option A. Its my last resort. I do have a spare ABS modulator off eBAy. Here is the ABS Amigo print out. I also am going to find a friend with a know good master cylinder cap to swap out and try.

I've had my 114 code come back maybe once or twice since doing the same repair. I'm wondering if my ground isn't quite good enough. I'm tempted to run the ground wire all the way over to the right side where the battery ground on the fender is to see if that resolves it for good.

Jafar, Its funny you mentioned that, I did that exact thing. Ran a wire to the ground block beside the main fuse box. No change. I was grasping at straws, hoping for the best.
I have to fix the BRAKE light before the Amigos will go away, is my bet.

Well after scanning with ABS Amigo this moring I started my car and the ABS light hung for 2 sec then no more Amigos. Brake light is even out. I must have cleared the codes with the ABS Amigo. I'll keep my fingers crosses that the seal fix worked.

I don't understand how the option A could work since that post that sticks out is no longer connected to the shuttle valve wires. Any thoughts

No. The instruction say to never do option a. Did you have a bad speed sensor or hub that you replaced?

Update:
After about 2 days of Amigo free driving they came back this morning. Here is the scan data. So the shuttle valves are about 6 months old, but did have some slight brake fluid on them before I fixed the seals this time. They passed the Ohm test on my meter. So whats next? As Jasfar said do not do option A, since I did option B. Roger That

My ABS is working for last 3/4 days now. I tested it in Hill decent mode as was fine going down a slight decline. I'm temped to put my test ground wire back to the grounding block.
