yea i think thats what its called, its burried in the back of my rover though under 4 rotors and the 3" lift kit haha ill dig it out later to varify. i know seafoam has 2 spray penetrators, ones the one that foams up like shaving cream, ones just another version of pb blaster or any other number of pen oils

Coors, How did deal with the other end of the Y pipe, where it joins into one? Did you cut those bolts or did they come off too?
For whatever it is worth, I was at my local machining shop that does some of my work when restoring espresso machines and I had these severely rusted parts screwed together and he took this tiny bottle with a purple goo and dabbed it on with a brush and like I've never seen the rust disappeared! was nice.. he said stay far away from that stuff or you'll hurt yourself... it was probably some kind of muratic gel or something.... I cannot remember name...

I bought a can of Sea Foam Deep creep. It ain't cheap...I could only find it at AutoZone for $11. So while working on my never ending bumper project I sprayed my exhaust manifold bolts/studs. turned the car on and brought it to temp. I did this twice. Basically 3 treatments on the bolts over 3 hours. Then I got my ratchet wrench with a multiple extensions to make it about 20 inches long starting on the passenger side using a 13mm 6pt socket. All 3 bolts came of with slight tugging. I also had to remove the drivers side down-pipe bolts as the whole Y pipe would not drop down enough to fit in the new gaskets. Shown in the pictures are the new and old gaskets. Took me about an hour start to finish. Now I have more HP and the engine sounds really good, hence no more exhaust leak sound! One of the studs unscrewed on the drivers side, but it screwed right back in. I used Antsieze on all the treads when refitting.

I think this is the stuff he had.. Evapo-Rust Rust Remover Home it was amazing!

[UPDATE] I saw this stuff at the store today and I don't think it is the same thing the machinist used... it was a purple gel but this stiff I saw today was like a liquid...
