Default Atlantic British Head Gasket Kit (STC4082BKA) Question

It says it contains everything needed to replace my heads but the manual told me to toss the (8) 8mm 12 pt valve cover bolts and from the picture provided by AB, I cannot see the replacement bolts.
Anyone know if the valve cover bolts are included?

Thanks in advance.

No, they're probably not.

none of the kits have em. I bought the lucky8 kit but I reccomend the arp studs instead of stretch bolts and there are some valve cover bolts I got off of eBay with orings on em....they are wonderful

A lot of people reuse the valve cover bolts.

Also, here is a tip for when you get to the point of removing the valve covers. There are small brass spacers between the valve cover and the head through which valve cover bolts pass. The spacers are there to prevent the valve cover gasket from being crushed and deformed, which could lead to even more leaks than the valve cover have normally. Be sure to collect the spacers when you remove the valve covers.

The valve cover bolts are so low-torque I wouldn't worry that much about replacing them. I mean, might as well if they're cheap enough, but it's far from essential IMO.

The only reason I did is because I lost one and found that's full set for under $20 with the orings on em
