Default Atlantic British prices

Is it me or have their prices gone up significantly in recent months and weeks? Their custom rear ladder used to be $79 and now it's $89 on sale. Other things seem extremely high, but I guess with limited competition they can get away with it.

Anyone else see this or have other companies they buy from that offer fairer prices?

No, it's not just you. I've noticed several accessories that i was shopping for and they were competitive with everyone else until about 4-5 months ago. I bought amass airflow sensor from themnot too long ago for $125, it went outagain recently and i've tracked the problem to a loose airbox lid letting contaminated airgetdirectly onto the sensor. They now want$145 for the same part. What i've started doing is getting part #'s and just doing google searches tofind the lowestprice.

You have to consider that a lot of parts come from overseas and as energy prices rise, so do the products to make up the difference. Grocery prices have gone up too. It's all a damn mess. Hard to just live basic nowadays.

Well, that may be true, but there is one part I have been looking for locally...an ABS plastic A-Frame bumper brush guard. I see them everywhere in Land Rover mags, but they are all UK based suppliers. These brush bumper deals are about $99Euro, but Atlantic just started advertising them close to $400. That doesn't convert, even for added shipping and fuel delivery surcharges. I'm thinking about just emailing around the UK companies and ordering direct from them. Looks like I'll be saving 75%.

I think those look sweet. Not much use for them, but you can throw a couple of lights on and look cool. The metal brush guards will just dent your hood. I have been looking t those too, but didn't want to spend that much.

The Dollar verse the Pound a year ago it was 1.82 $ to a Pound ,
now its 2.02 $ to Pound .

Holding inventory cost money.

Import fees.

I did just get a sell sheet and O'2 sensors have gone down.

But what ever the reason we are paying more and I don't see a end in sight.
