Yes. Find a empty spot on the dash, LR's have lots of them, where there is a blank switch. Most likly on the dash next to or around the master cruise control switch, or like what Panzer did, next to the steering wheel.
LR uses the same dash for all trim levels, so a HSE has everything a SE will not so they fill in the empty spaces with "blanks". You get the idea.

yeah I think I do but are you talking about putting the little round button up with the rectangular "factory" buttons? or are you saying if I get a new switch?

Use your switch but drill your hole in one of the blanks. That way you dont hurt your dash and if you remove the driving lights you can just replace the blank with a new one.

Panzer - Where did you get the switches for your auxillary lights? Will those fit my D1? I want to get rid of the radio control switches around instrument panel and replace them with light switches. I don't see the point in having the radio controls there when it's just as easy to reach the radio itself. Plus I only use volume control for the radio, everything else I control on the satellite radio.

You can buy those at any of the LR parts suppliers.

You can go to ExpeditionExchange. About 2/3 of the way down the page they list switches for D1's and D2's.
