We used our disco with our daughter's car seats from the newborn snap in rear facing seat in the rear middle (I admit a pain but my wide handled it fine) to the forward facing toddler seat in the back side positions. It does have the clip on points in the back.

Rear facing, our britax was a pretty tight squeeze.

Forward facing, it's fine.

The kid loves the stadium seating/riding in daddy's truck.

is the previous poster saying he used the latch bars for a rear-facing child seat in the center position? I just read my manual and is says NOT to do this. Apparently the latch bars are for right or left child seat positions only. However I too want to place the child seat in the center position, as I'm told this is the safest position. Now on my child seat the latches are on adjustable straps and not fixed so you can fit them to the outer latch bars on both the right and left seats, thereby creating a center positioned latched child seat- but again this goes against LR's manual.
My thought was if anything to use the seatbelt attachment for the center seat- tho I'm reluctant to do that too as the latch adjustments are supposedly safer- and also the seatbelt locking clip isn't fixed but movable along the strap, which means you have to use one of those strap adjuster thingies?

They are speaking about ‘LATCH’ 3 pt seating systems. I was speaking about a infant car seat. My toddler car seat is held in a rear seat by a seat belt.

I think we're on the same page tho I'm not familiar with the term "Latch 3" Is this simply referring to the two latch attachments at the front bottom of the infant seat and then the "third latch" being the strap that connects to the hinge on the seatbacks- or for a center seat the strap connector on the middle ceiling? I too have a rear-facing infant seat.

Yeah you should not "clip" a 3 point toddler seat in the middle unless you connect it with the shoulder belt. An infant seat that has a base that connects with 2 latches and then the carrier clips in and out is fine in the middle though (rear facing of course). Mine would not fit in the side seats and allow a person to sit in the front seat comfortably.
