Good morning y'all,

Ok, so I have an issue cropping up now. I have a month-long hunting trip to montana this fall and I'm trying to outfit my 2004 Disco with Roof Rack and Roof Top Tent.

I purchased an ARB tent and it arrived yesterday. After placing the order I later found out that ARB has a back order on the rack and mounts and don't expect to see any until Winter...Much to late

I called British Atlantic to get the more expensive Hannibal rack (out of despiration) and guess what? They are on back order with NO delivery in sight...i.e perhapse next year!

So...are there any forum users out there with a rack in their inventory or selling used perhapse?

I'll post on the wanted section as well.

Did you try Atlantic British or www.roversnorth.com? How about www.expiditionexchange.com?

 

Most tents will mount to Yakima and Thule racks call ARB and see if you need any mounts
for the tent. I use Yakima racks for most things.

yes, i tried british atlantic. that's where i learned that hannibal would be unavailable until next year sometime. I ended up ordering custom from Rover Racks in Florida. http://www.northwestparts.com/VoyagerRacks.htm

They quoted custom fabrication and shipping at approx. 2 weeks for slightly less $$ than a hannibal rack. Should be a pretty good set up once it's all put together.
